Captain America: The First Avenger 2011
having for the most part a grounded setting like ww2 to a superhero movie really adds to the enjoyment. there are few moments where this movies falters that cant be chalked up to it being a marvel movie, although that stink does permeate the film.

this movie began the horrendous marvel trend of completely correct villains (loki) suddenly becoming genocidal at the end so you have to root for the hero. the writing itself is very frustrating and it feels like they changed loki's motivations multiple times as the script progressed. other than that solid super hero schlock with half decent jokes.
