  In two minds, although being easily emmersed in  Poor Things and enhoying most of the film more then any other I have seen in a long while there were some issues.  Firstly, I did have to suspend my disbelief to allow the morally dubious baseline of the plot which I found fairly uncomfortable. It was really joyful and relatable in a lot of ways it’s like a jet speed view into growing up. The part where she understands human suffering…

  I’m not sure how to rate it but it was kind of traumatic to watch and as much as I like the rape revenge thing it was quite hard to watch such intense violence towards women’s bodies in the end. I’m in two minds about the genre but that aside it’s a really great film and the casting is spot on, had to skip past the man speech at the end coz stfu, too many lines for the men but I acc don’t think it would have passed the reverse bechtal so pop off Ms Kravitz
