FFC really REALLY wanted to say something IMPORTANT. unfortunately he had literally nothing meaningful, or even unique! to say. crazy trying to crank out your magnum opus without seeming to reflect on anything you’ve ever done.

look man, this movie is slow as hell. if you’re lookin for that Barbarian/Midsommar/X level good stuff, this ain’t it. BUT wow they made this movie for 15. thousand. dollars… that’s so cool! warner brothers spent $25 MILLION dollars removing henry cavils mustache, and this movie managed to evoke such a strange, visceral atmosphere for a fraction of a fraction of that budget.
this movie really captures the fear i felt as a child when my parents were late coming…
