A worthy ending of exceptionally strong trilogy of our favorite crime fighter, but unable to live up to the high expectations set by The Dark Knight (TDK).
Bane is a terrifying villain but can’t quite match the mad dog character of the Joker who seems to lack all sense of mission or motive (Some men just want to watch the world burn, indeed). One of the central themes in TDK was the willingness of Batman to break his own rules…
Sequel to the highly entertaining Kick-Ass looses the fine balance between humor and surprisingly graphic violence accompanied by an ass-kicking soundtrack, which made its predecessor stand out. Suffering from the sequel syndrome (everything is just a bit less, or too over the top) it's still a foul mouthing fun ride -especially for fans of the first installment.
