written, produced, & directed by all men — i counted maybe,, 3? women in the initial credits and the next time i saw a womans name on the scrolling credits that wasnt an actor it was assistants.
credit for being a mental exercise in identity, but even more credit for being a sucky fucking excuse to see scarjo pseudo-softcore & attempted SA scene

this movie was fucking wicked!!
‐ awesome use of color and visual medium, esp near the end w/ how the cinema reflects itself in the framing & style of filming
- critique of rape culture & normalization of sexual violence for the sake of 'art'
- critique of censorship in media & the belief surrounding the narrative that violent media begets violence
- themes on trauma/ptsd & the dismissive attitudes towards mental health
- the ending really encapsulated the title & theme of the movie in a visually & thematically interesting wayumm thats all i remember for now but yea!!
