Can’t honestly understand the lack of love for this film or the second intention rage regarding the idolization of the Joker character. It is so well built that it is beyond idolizations, and if something contains several metaphors of many society issues. Would be 5 stars if I’d only be qualifying Joaquin Phoenix’s interpretation, which is an absolute masterpiece and my favorite this year (no, I have not seen every single movie released in 2019).

Boyhood 2014
The concept of this movie is just so beautiful. The final result is equally beautiful. The movie flows smoothly through all the hurdles life usually brings while growing up. What is supposed to be the story of a small boy growing up turns out to be much more than that and everyone can extract aspects of their own lives (with variations, of course) while reflecting philosophically on several layers of the meaning of life and the complex mesh of human relationships.

Horses of God 2011
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
If it's true it does not come as a novelty that many religious extremists in poor income countries emerge from below human neighborhoods and rough educations, this movie is a beautifully made description of that kind of story.
It was impressive for me that, despite how rough it is to grow in those places, without any real hope about the future, the transformation from regular life to religious fanaticism and martyrdom was actually much faster (around one year) that I would believe to be the case.
Overall a very well made movie about an issue everyone should care about.
