  For what it is, it’s not bad. Comparable to one of my favorites, repo the genetic opera, trap is able to capture the same “it’s so bad is good” feeling. This movie is so bad and so over the top, the amount of plot twists that happen within a half hour period is shocking. It felt like an episode of American horror stories, not AHS. But horror stories, the AHS spin off show that Ryan Murphy created. It felt like that.  
  It was a fun watch with friends though so I’ll give it that.

  Have been the biggest fan of Pearl and X for a while dispute never seeing either of them. My knowledge of the movies was simply from twitter and “Pearl is so kind”. Found out about 30 minutes before I saw Maxxxine that Pearl and Maxine were two different people?? If you would have asked me what the first two movies were about I would have said a girl who goes on a murderous rampage and changes her name from Pearl to Maxine. The movie was pretty good tho.
