The first ten minutes…really. I was in tears. One of the best introductions to a character I have seen from Disney let alone Pixar. This is an amazing story about losing a loved one and dealing with the aftermath. Watching Carl’s development was incredible, dealing with his wife’s death and letting go was beautiful to watch. Also Russell’s character is a good parallel to Ellie as a child which restores Carl and helps him find peace, happiness and a new life.
Easily now one of my favourite Disney movies.
