Todd Haynes, I was not familiar with your game.
Blanchett continues to amaze me.
RIP Heath Ledger.
(would’ve been 4.5 stars if not for the completely nonsensical Richard Gere storyline)

Good guy underdog company Netflix spends $350 million on a movie about how Amazon and Facebook are evil. Great stuff. Truly everything that is wrong with the film industry wrapped into one disasterfuck
Wasn’t sure how I felt at the intermission. First half felt like it was missing something, and I think that something was Felicity Jones. Her character and performance were tremendous in the excellent second half of the movie. I think I could’ve done without the epilogue, thought the ending was perfect. Why did the film/lighting make it seem like everyone’s fingers were red?
I had previously considered Fallout to be the best movie of the series, but I’m starting to think it might be this one. First two acts don’t have quite as many jaw dropping stunts, but the climactic motorcycle-off-the-cliff more than makes up for it. The most self-aware Mission Impossible, by far the funniest, with outstanding supporting performances from Haley Atwell and Henry Czerny. 2 hours 45 minutes absolutely flys by, so fucking entertaining from start to finish. Really excellent
