This was a hell of a ride. A great marriage of 90s and modern filmmaking. Amblin entertainment is all over this film. Felt like a classic disaster flick, with some of the flair of early Spielberg. Without giving away too much, the nighttime tornado scene was just delicious. Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell had some fun chemistry, glad they didn’t push the romance too much. Really fun summer film. So much more enthralling in the original. Really dug this one.

Maxxxine wraps up this evangelical crusade trilogy against “indecency”. The film takes a stylized approach to the gritty streets of 1980s LA. Mia Goth brings so much character to this world. Driven, troubled, empathetic, and completely badass. Loved this final chapter of the trilogy. Really loved this world, the music, and ultra violence. Kevin Bacon as the slimy PI did steal the show. Ti West definitely landed the plane with this one.
