It’s not Tarkovsky. It’s Richard Curtis. Very Richard Curtis. Possibly peak Richard Curtis. It does exactly what you want it to do if you wanted exactly what this film intended to do. Overall it’s satisfyingly sappy. And makes you want to live in London again when it was almost affordable… and before cell phones!

Perfect Days 2023
Simple, delicate and profound. Far more than just a film. A guidebook for living - suggesting that you live smaller, more simply and be more present with your surroundings, your-self and others. You don’t need everything you think you need. These lessons are also evident in how the film is captured (camera, light, sound) - simple, delicate, elegant. Masterful with a light touch.
