Strange movie that was a very condensed version of the book which got more condensed as the film went on. Suffered from production issues which held it back. Also, the Geidi Prime scenes were strange and incomprehensible but had a certain charm. They would have made more sense if the film was allowed to be longer.

Solid movie, a lot of good callbacks for someone who knows about the 60's folk scene. The movie was well shot, the dialogue was good, the plot was engaging. I am not a huge fan of Timothée Chalamet' s performance but I am not a huge fan of the actor, but I thought Ed Norton was great.

Easily the greatest concert film of all time. The music is fantastic, the energy ever-present, and David Byrne's one of a kind persona is brought to life by the medium of film. I have seen this movie too many times to count and listened to it more than that, and I can say without a doubt that it only seems to grow on me. A must watch for anyone who considers them a lover of music.

My dad showed me this movie when I was five and loved it. Sixteen years later my reaction hasn't changed and I can truly say this is a classic comedy for all ages. I am usually pretty negative about SNL movies and recycled material in Hollywood, but this movie may take the cake for the best SNL movie of all time. It has no right to be as good as it is and worth the watch if you haven't seen it.
