Whiplash 2014
The pacing, tiny details, score, and cinematography are all fantastic. This movie can be watched back-to-back, no problem. Miles Teller is okay and definitely looks like he knows how to drum and express the pressures of schooling and performance excellently. However, J.K. Simmons is so particular, it's like watching the BTS of a Kuberick film. Solid movie through and through

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is a classic movie. Two excellent performances by the leads. Brad Pitt is always good but Cate Blanchett could've had more of a role. A shame to see a waste of her talent to watch more scenes about history (a la Forest Gump). In the middle of the movie is a copy of Lost in Translation for a good 10 minutes. Whether a homage or just a copy, it was a tired concept. The pacing is decent and it is fun to rewatch, the length and plot are not very satisfying.
