Locked 2025
Locked is extremely claustrophobic with creative cinematography. Bill Skarsgård’s performance is full of interesting choices and holds your attention, even though he is on screen 90 percent of the movie. Anthony Hopkins, naturally, chews up the scenery as a villain you love to hate. Locked is an engaging flick with stellar performances and cinematography.

Ash adds nothing new to the genre. The lead actress, along with most of the cast, failed to hold my attention, but I don’t think that is the fault of the actors rather the director. The effects are cheesy, and Flying Lotus seemed more focused on the visuals and technical elements rather than the performances. The set design is unclear, making it hard to tell where the characters are at in the location at times. However, the strong third act left me not too disappointed.
