  Late Night With The Devil is a very unsettling horror film that is now streaming on Shudder. I was thoroughly entertained by this movie. Right from the start, it draws you in with an intriguing premise and a stylish approach. A found footage documentary hybrid made to look like something from the 70s.   Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom 2023

  Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom sends the DCEU off with a whimper. A disjointed sequel that is terribly edited together and feels like the studio had their hand prints all over this. This deserved to bomb and the last few films deserved to as well. It was idiotic of Warner Bros to announce rebooting the universe when they still had all those films slated to come out.   Lamb is another intriguing premise from A24 but the execution is done at such a snails pace I know this movie will be too slow for some. I was never bored by it, but not much really happened either. And the films ending is feels abrupt and not so satisfying. Not really a movie I can see myself going back to. It would also be hard to categorize what genre Lamb falls into. In my opinion this is in no way a horror film, it's an odd drama about dealing with grief. Worth a watch but once again another A24 film that I can't fully endorse.

  Haunted Mansion isn't really that much fun. I don't know who this movie is exactly for. It's certainly not scary enough and lacks any sort of thrills. This film has a PG-13 rating yet feels like it’s geared towards kids. I don't understand why they wouldn't attempt to make a legit horror film for teens. You wanna cater towards families and kids then make a PG movie instead. That was done with the original and that movie didn't quite work…
