A Real Pain 2024
I watched this on a plane so may need to give it another watch before really judging it. With that said, I think it was an incredible movie with a deep storyline and stunning performances from the actors. I felt like it was a tad rushed in with the relationship between Jesse Eisenberg and Kieran Culkin’s relationship and could have been drawn out a little more. Overall a great movie with a great meaning and would recommend.

Knew the very general summary of what this movie was about. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this movie. Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto murdered their performances as two total opposites. Built a great team and did it for the right reasons with a certain level of business attached. Story is incredible and unbelievable at times. Overall a great movie and would highly recommend - no wonder MM got the Oscar for best actor.

Watched a second time around and it was absolutely stunning. The first time I felt confused and as if I missed important details but the second time around everything connected and it felt every single scene and minor detail played a role in the movie. Tons of foreshadowing and minor actions that lead to crucial moments later in the film. Watched on a 70mm screen in Lincoln square AMC and it changed the entire movie for me - larger screen…
