Barton Fink 1991
I really liked how slow and contemplative this was and I was very immersed in Fink’s inner world. The tonal shift midway through was interesting but it kinda felt like it went nowhere and the story ended kind of abruptly. Maybe that was the point?

National Theatre Live: The Importance of Being Earnest 2025
Idk if this even counts as a movie but fuck YES. I think everyone should see this play and this production made it feel so timely and visceral despite it being over 130 years old. So much energy and wit in every performance. Amazing!!
