I think what really got me invested in this film is the way it beautifully depicts young love it’s very potent yet naive blissfully unwilling to accept the reality both protagonists live in. It’s honestly painful to watch two people have the most magical encounter with romance only for every subsequent experience to feel inadequate and insufficient.
Where the first movie was about love and connection. This one tell a story of second chances, new beginnings, and wonderings of what could have been.
I think I’m gonna rewatch this when I’m 30

There is something so tender and beautiful watching two strangers deeply connect in just one night.
It is the equivalent of watching lightning in a bottle where two people share a deep and genuine connection but will likely only have this night to appreciate it.
