Had everything I want in a Batman film - action, mystery, a demented villain, and a great Gotham. It’s hard to pull off a superhero movie that removes the supernatural element, but Reeves crushed it.
Skipped any of the scenes about BW’s parents being killed but instead gave us more of an origin of the character and how he redefines himself into a hero.Would definitely recommend watching The Long Halloween on HBO if you don’t want some of the lore stuff they casually drop to throw you off guard.
