  Luca guadagnino is just rad and this movie so so much fun.

  One of my favorite genres is Beautiful people in Beautiful places doing horrible shit to each other within a love triangle. Like La Piscine.

  Challengers fits that mold to a tee. This film really captures lust and desire but non of the characters particularly have a lot of love for each other and it leads to some fantastic drama.

  This would have been a top 3 movie of the year for me maybe.

  Maybe my favorite Vampire Media so far. Eggers just continues to hit it out of the park.

  This gets a single star because Madchen Amick is incredibly hot in this film and her performance had a great energy in the film. This was the first movie in a while that I paused a couple times through to get snacks/ play with my dog.

  I know James Spader was the IT actor in the early 90s but his performance was not there and he was a bit like wet cardboard. There are much better films out there capturing toxic relationships.
