Quiz Show 1994
Man, another one where I don’t disagree with the group consensus but it also still seems unfair. A stupendous period piece, I’m so curious to learn more about how they shot this. It really feels like watching something from the 50s but in color. The casting is well done and well acted in my opinion and it’s an interesting topic. The pacing is appropriate and the plot points relevant. I think the message about truth and integrity in media is just as relevant today. While I’d definitely say it’s worth a watch, I also don’t really see myself revisiting it, hence the rating.

Ugh, I’m so disappointed this is hovering at 2.9 stars. I can’t in good faith say it deserves more than 3 stars, but 2.9 doesn’t do it justice either. Massively entertaining and the effects hold up super well. Sure, it’s a disaster movie. But it’s a really, really good disaster movie.
