Surreal. Absolutely monumental.
Not even solely on narrative standpoint, but from a technical view it is absolutely insane what this show pulls off. FOUR hour episodes each that consist of one singular, no hidden cuts, the camera doesn’t blink for a microsecond.
Not just compelling, but an extremely crucial viewing. The thematic presence of knife crime and toxic masculinity is extremely present in today’s society, and weighs heavy on the younger generations. A series like this is so eye opening to the reality we live in.
Been a huge fan of Stephen Graham for so long, he’s phenomenal in this, as per the entire cast.
