Hackman gives such a phenomenal subdued performance in this. To the point where I didn't even see him, I only saw this character and he did with mostly his physical presence. You can see the guilt and the paranoia washing over him. Truly a wonderful paranoia thriller.

It's astonishing how well this holds up. I remember being 13 years old seeing this in the theaters, and being blown away. Truly a marvel that this film was made for a modest $30 million dollar budget. I'm still holding out hope for that sequel.

GoodFellas 1990
First off I don't trust ANYONE who dislikes this movie. Also I think it's time for people to recognize the greatness of Thelma Schoonmaker and her editing for this movie. Even though Scorsese deserves all the credit for making one of the greatest movies ever made, Schoonmakers editing keeps the moving flowing so perfectly. You're always glued to the screen as scenes transition, it's just PERFECT.
Goodfellas is my favorite film of all time, it is endlessy quotable, and rewatchable.…

Blow Out 1981
That's gotta be one of the most fucked up endings I've seen in a while. This Brian De Palma conspiracy thriller is phenomenal. It's got a fantastic opening sequence that made me think I was watching a completely different movie lol. Also the cinematography and camera movement is goddamn beautiful.
