Part 1 March 5th: OP has fallen, the decepticons with their complex alien forward social system and human hatred have once again bested the autobots. Again, a feminist SF retelling would go so hard.
Also, decepticons disguising themselves as humans? Now we are on to something.

I am VERY much enjoying myself. Incredible action, I love you alien cars!!!! 🚙 Truly a campy classic!!

Unreal, incredible commentary on US government. A feminist speculative fiction retelling would have soooo much to work with.
Almost as fun as a romance movie can probably get, well written, well casted, doesn’t totally age well though. The constant bombardment of the ticking number of the titular character’s weight is very much an accurate portrayal of the thin obsession of our time, but the constant fat jabs is a bit fucking gauche. No doubt this movie had a hand in the diminished self worth of a lot of women, but what movie or show about the sex lives of women doesn’t? Otherwise fun!
