  The Pelican Brief is another stellar book from John Grisham. However, a stellar book does not a good movie make.

  This movie has a top notch cast, great scores & good suspense. However, taking a 300 page book with lots of detail and character development involving LAW then trying to shove it into an entertaining movie is a difficult ask. No time for character development, felt a little rushed with sparse details. And it was still over 2 hours long!!
