  Opus is getting absolutely dragged just because it happened to release at a time where people are feeling a lot of fatigue around this genre. It’s about as good as any middling horror A24 puts out. Closest comparison has been Blink Twice but this is much better with an interesting screenplay and a fun, unique John Malkovich performance.   This really slapped after all the delays in more ways than I could ever have predicted. Very… cathartic. Ruffalo back to back entertaining the hell out of me between this and Poor Things. Some good laughs, RPatt continues proving himself to be one of my favorites.
