i do agree this is terrible timing for a film like this to be made. i also think this conflict is decades long and there might never be a right time to tell this story, but i do think it’s an important one regardless.

some of the ‘after’ movies have more entertainment value than this, at least they’re so bad that they’re fun to make fun of
this was uniquely awful & ignorant, aesthetically ugly in every way (use of color?? lighting??), every song was bad and felt unfinished and the music did nothing to further the plot, it’s so tone deaf in more ways than one, and is not good trans representation!!
