Rewatch in honor of Anora being on Hulu. I had less sympathy for Ani on this watch. I mean seriously, you meet some idiot 21 year old, get married in Vegas, and think he’s actually into you? Come on. However, all of Igor’s little gestures (e.g. lighting 2 cigarettes and handing one to Ani) hit harder on the rewatch. I like to think that Ani and Igor settle down together after the end. All that being said Mikey Madison really did deserve best actress for this
