A very moody and atmospheric movie, with great set and costume design. It feels as though it were an old classic horror filmed in modern times. Count Orloc is an unflinching monster. The film feels a little longer than it needs to be, and I was disappointed that it didn't go harder on the horror. Otherwise a strong and well made entry into the modern horror landscape.

Where the Crawdads Sing 2022
A bland down-south version of The Notebook. The saving grace is a compeling murder mystery added to the mix,unfortunately the pay off is not worth the run time. Don't recommend. Watch The Notebook instead.
