You know… for kids!
I love this sm. The cinematography reminds me of Wes Anderson mixed with ASOUE (also a little bit of a cozy dream). I also find it super cool how in a way, Norville is based on Richard Knerr, the guy best known for marketing the Hula Hoop, and Frisbee (around the same time Hudsucker takes place)
Also, HELLO THE ENDING?!
I watched this all the time as a kid, almost as much as when I watched Willy Wonka 1971 for a week straight, and I LOVE this movie. It’s so bleak but existential and Harold Crick is so autistic it’s awesome
The ending was golden compared to the rest of the movie. I did like it, but I just feel like a lot of the songs were unnecessary in relation to the scenes
