What a surprise! I'd never even heard of this movie before watching it. And what sounds like an action-packed thriller ends up being, at times, more of a philosophical examination of humanity. Really enjoyed it!

Poor Things ends up being so many things... it has to be seen to be believed.

Extremely funny music mockumentary that skewers the '80s and '90s rap scene in ways that are silly as well as intelligent. You don't need to be a huge rap fan to enjoy the humor.

A lesser film would just be the comedic ride of his unintended best-seller, but this movie has humanity on the mind, and throws in family turmoil, death, abusive suicidal parents, break-ups, and much more. It's a deeply human film about how we force others to be human in the ways we want them to.
