Good movie but could have focused on Lincoln more to characterize him. I get the premise, but it seemed like with such a huge amount of ideas to explore around his life, they zoomed in on such a minuscule item. He didn’t even pass the amendment, congress did… would’ve been much better to show the lead up to the emancipation or final war negotiations and things of that nature.

Harriet 2019
unintentional, but they almost glamorized slavery. A much better film could have been made off of this premise but all in all this movie just was so bland and not powerful like it should have been. 2 stars are just for the historical story, Erivo, and the credits song.

Ford is so good as Ross in this movie, just amazing. Sam is a good continuation of Captain America and isaiah bradley has great characterization I wish he was featured more though. red hulk also had criminally low screen time but i get it
