    This is one of those movies that is NOT meant to be “critically acclaimed”. So when I see a lower rating, I kind of get it but also, I can’t deny that this movie was so much fun. I can’t in good faith put it above a 4 on here when films like Interstellar and Good Will Hunting exist lol but this movie did a LOT right, so let’s break it down.

    I really enjoyed this! It’s a love story based in reality, with plenty of humor and MANY moments that make you go “aww 🥺”. Joseph Gordon Levitt is super rootable as the main character and while Zoe Dechanelle isn’t necessarily “rootable”, I do think she perfectly portrays the realistic truth that you can share loving moments with someone and still not quite see them as your forever person.
