In the best Pusha T voice you’ve ever heard:
Soder-brrrrrgh what happened to that boy?
Soder-brrrrrgh what happened to that boy?
Soder-brrrrrgh what happened to that boy?
He was talkin’ shit
We put a clappin’ to that boy
The film was more interested in the perspective and potential redemption of the gay bashing closeted white man than on the impact his brutal actions had on the black drag artist.
It came across as not just racist, but specifically anti-black. Jules only other interaction with a black person in the film is when he grinds with a woman on a dance floor in order to continue protecting the secret of his closeted attacker.
There is nothing provocative here. There is nothing interesting here.
This film is a complete piece of shit.
