Ryan Reynolds continues to play Ryan Reynolds in Free Guy staring Ryan Reynolds. Of course Ryan Reynolds is very fun to watch, like always, and his charisma largely carries the movie. The concept of a NPC gone rogue is such simple fun it is hard not to enjoy the film. There are plenty of cliché blockbuster movie moments, but they are certainly supported by the tone and humor of the movie. This movie also has Steve Harrington lose his girlfriend to a literal videogame NPC (at least at first) and I am grateful to this movie for that if nothing else.
