A world where no one talks in movie theaters… that’s a utopia. Seriously, the amount of obnoxious talking and jeering from this crowd… I just don’t get it.
What I do get is the vision here. Coppola is working on levels and in registers that are unorthodox in one breath, shockingly old fashioned in the next. It’s disheartening to see how little tolerance people have for something that’s trying to do something differently.
Boomer to the core, but in a way I found endearing. I enjoyed it!
