Despite my very much minute experience of anti-war films, Come and See will most likely be regarded as one of, if not, the most uneasy films I have seen and will ever see.
It encapsulated the many effects of war and the uncanny, inhumane capabilities of the human psyche. Such discomfort and disgust was not only sustained but constantly and gradually boosted throughout the entire film, so much so that my eyes were left unable to blink…
