This suffers from the "Promising Young Woman" effect, where something gets lavished with praise simply for being *about* some important topic despite saying nothing interesting about it and lacking anything that makes a show actually good (except great acting).
Surface level characters say surface level things (but ~emotionally~) all packaged in a set of technically impressive but aesthetically vapid oners.
