  “I’m having Port for breakfast!”

  I really liked the fun parts of the film. The steampunk aesthetic, the wide angle lens, and the wacky cinematography… but besides that it’s a great story of maturing, self discovery, and finally finding who you are. I’m glad I got to see it slightly earlier in the UK.

  This film is a fresh portrayal of the horror of the holocaust, perhaps it’s the most impactful holocaust film for me at least. 
  Rather than focus on the victims perspective, this film focuses on the perspective of the oppressor. You watch a Nazi officers family as they go about their days, celebrating their new life and new house that borders the walls of Auschwitz. You see how indifferent they are to the suffering of the Jewish people on the opposite…
