The most candid footage of The Beatles we’re bound to get. This is a band that’s larger than life so to be able to watch through hours and hours of them sitting in a studio trying to work out songs, messing around, arguing, and just overall acting like ordinary people is quite mesmerizing. I’ve seen a couple short films this director has made that got me really excited for this feature film of hers, but this movie is just simply meh. Interesting concept to basically make a script out of a series of tweets but other than that there’s not really anything special or unique about this movie.
