I read someone say that this is Paul Thomas Anderson’s most accessible move to date and after seeing the film I have to say I agree. The most candid footage of The Beatles we’re bound to get. This is a band that’s larger than life so to be able to watch through hours and hours of them sitting in a studio trying to work out songs, messing around, arguing, and just overall acting like ordinary people is quite mesmerizing.
