Watched this because of a Tooth and Claw podcast episode on the Lions of Tsavo, which is the same real life event that this movie is based on.
An older movie involving imperial-era British colonies always runs the risk of aging poorly. But this movie did have some interesting characters. And it’s wild that this is (loosely) based on real events. You can even see the taxidermied lions in Chicago at the Field Museum.
