pretty good movie, felt like it could’ve had a pretty good message about the dangers of alcoholism but the ending made me make an old fashioned after instead

overall good movie. acting is really good but all characters felt pretty flat and 2 dimensional. also it’s absolutely insane to me that this movie came out in 1942, it’s pretty obvious they don’t know the severity of concentration camps and perceive them more as “jails” than what they actually were
