Almost six years later and I still cry when Iron Man and Black Widow sacrifice themselves to save the universe. An incredible end to my childhood. It may be the pinnacle of consumerist, corporatized blockbuster media to some but this film was clearly made with a lot of heart and love. Almost perfect save for a few dumb shoehorned in moments. A deserving finale to an 11 year, 23 film saga of incredible action, heroes and the triumph of human storytelling and spirit.
I hope something like this film will happen again but somehow I doubt it will. This story will always be here though
