Though it has some interesting ideas that are worth exploring (like how a rideshare driver is has a window into many peoples' lives and shares in those moments even though they are a stranger) the main story goes so extreme so fast that it crosses the line into absurdly laughable and the rest of the story just feels manipulative and launches subtlety off the bridge (see what I did there?). I am truly confused as to why this film got nominated for an Oscar.
