Feel like the director's goal of having a film to discuss worker exploitation, particularly in dangerous work environments was overshadowed by a cartoonish, mustache twisting villain taking a page out of Christopher Columbus' book.
Concept is interesting, felt like it should have been explored more through any other lens. Creepers were cool!
Fantastic animation, cute story, voice acting by Nyong'o in particular was great. Was not into the first act, but in retrospect helped build the themes. Final act felt a little rushed. Love comes from all places.
