Sequels are almost never live up to their originals. Kung Fu Panda bucks this trend with a follow up that is comparable to its predecessor. Po is off on another adventure as the dragon warrior as this movie delves deeper into his past and incorporates a larger span of China. The villain in this movie is again incredible and the scene where Po achieves inner peace is one of the greatest in animation. (9.3)

This movie feels a lot longer than an hour and a half. It probably has something to do with how good it is. The nostalgia, animation, and dialogue in this movie are second to none. Po drops a wide quote in seemingly every scene and his message of it’s ok to be yourself is one that is much needed. Jack Black is the only person I could imagine as Po and he delivers in every aspect. Tai Lung creates a perfect villain as he juxtaposes Po in nearly every aspect. With  HTTYD and Wall-E this is one of the three best animated movies ever made. (9.7)

The big screen finale to one of my favorite TV shows. The movie was able to wrap up the previous six seasons of the show and ultimately achieve Alfred’s dream of a unified England. My biggest problem however was that it seemed rushed. A 2 hour film could not fully…

A funny and enjoyable movie with a ton of major plot holes. The first hour is very good but many aspects in the latter half don’t make sense. It feels like something is missing and the movie does not hold up under scrutiny. Overall it’s a fun movie but not critically sound. (6.1)
