Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 2004
Watched this again for the first time in like 10 years because I realised it was directed by Alfonso Cuaron. It reminded me everything I loved about the Harry Potter world but I didn’t remember how fucking dry Harry is throughout the whole film. Barely any emotion such a weirdo - or maybe the script is just bad 🤷🏻♂️
Still fun, also Ian Brown from stone roses makes a cameo? That was jokesTranslated from by -
Nosferatu 2024
It insists upon itself, in a fun way.
Good modern retelling of a simple classic horror which is impressive since the original film from over 100 years ago has survived when so many silent films are lost, thanks SpongeBob 😃
Extremely self-consciously gothic and dark but paired with amazing cinematography makes it work well, especially the moonlit journey at the beginning and Nosferatu’s hand moving across the town.
Could’ve been slightly shorter since the ending was so inevitable but overall Eggers did a great job of creating a creepy 19th century atmosphereTranslated from by
