Perfect Blue 1997
This is a perfect movie to me, and there isn’t a thing I would change. This is confusion portrayed in its finest form, with a plot akin to Memento in terms of twists and portrayal. If that wasn’t enough, it has symbolism, imagery and foreshadowing that hold up to the level of filmmaking I expect from masters of the craft. Perfect Blue is my favorite animated film of all time, by far.

Seven Samurai 1954
As stated by countless others, Seven Samurai is a perfectly paced, beautifully shot, expertly written, amazingly scored cinematic masterpiece, one that has aged beautifully and whose impact I now notice has inspire some of my favorite tv shows and movies.
