There was only way to start 2024 and that was with a bang the Michael Mann masterpiece, Heat; and at the same time this was my 10th watch of the picture. This is just pure magic of cinema, everything comes together perfectly. From the opening studio logos it’s already setting the atmosphere for you the viewer and the picture it itself with the music alone and then we get our other leading Robert De Niro entering the scene and it…

They really did save the best for last huh. Now this still ain’t exactly great but it was somewhat watchable. Maybe I have been symbiote brained watching all three in quick succession. This was surprisingly brutal for a PG13 movie with swearing and blood.

I’m pretty sure I watched the entire movie with English subtitles and I didn’t notice until the post credits scene.

Stupid gifs man. For some reason I thought this would be an improvement over the first one but it isn't. The dynamic between Eddie and Venom is better and more humorous this time however but the movie is still fairly boring. Woody Harrelson didn't ham it up enough to really own the role of Cletus and for a Venom sequel you really needed that.

Maybe the third one will get it right? Probably not but you never know. At least there is that one funny meme clip in it right?

One thing I really like about this is how no one here is a good person. So you’re just along for the ride curious what’s going to happen. One could say that this is too long, sure it’s long but I wouldn’t say too long, the length only adds to the tension at the cabin and only adds to the final chapters as things are slowly starting to unravel. There is a reveal I wish they kept secret until it…
