  I thought this was gonna be just more of the same: great visuals with a generic plot, however... here we received a complete evolution of the first movie at every possible level: the visuals, the narrative, the characters and a plot of its own; which finally makes Miles special among all the generic spider/super-hero stories we all have seen before.

  This narrative seems to sacrifice much of the integrity of the other versions of Spider-Man though. Most of them probably wouldn't do what they supposedly do here and that complicates things a little for this movie.
